Once thought to be the bane of teenagers alone, acne and other skin irritations can affect men and women in all age groups. Carrots are great for your skin. Carrots have natural vitamin A. Vitamin A can help prevent acne and strengthen your skin. Being deficient in vitamin A can cause acne. Minimizing the amount of sun exposure you get every day can help reduce your acne problems. Ultraviolet radiation from the sun will redden and inflame your skin, and many acne medications actually increase sensitivity to the sun's rays. Apply a non-acnegenic sunscreen 20 minutes before you go out into the sun to protect your skin.

Acne in teenagers can lead to depression. Encouraging healthy habits, wearing hair pulled back from the face or in a very short cut is recommended and focus on self esteem that is not looks related!
