Contrary to popular belief, pimples are not infectious and are not really caused by diet or hygiene issues although it is important to maintain a healthy diet because this contributes to keeping your body healthy, which in turn, enhances the health of your skin. Some people believe that pimples are caused by hereditary issues. This may be true.
