Or you can make your own juice from a cucumber and drink it. Another use for cucumbers would be to slice the cucumber and place the slices on your face, while you lay down for about 20 minutes. You can also make a treatment using other remedies as well, such as turmeric and ginger. Cucumbers are, first of all, good for moisturizing your face, and it's also high in minerals and amino acids. Cucumbers are not only great for curing acne but they are also known to reduce facial wrinkles. You will be left with younger looking, well moisturized skin. If you don't want to apply fresh cucumbers to your face, you can also find skin care products that use this ingredient.

There are many home remedies for acne, and if you have a serious problem it may be tempting to try everything you read about at once. Take a scientific approach to treating acne. Try one home remedy at a time, then evaluate if the remedy was effective or not.
